If we spent a fifth of that each year in spreading pure humanitarian aid (including education and a PC, why not?) to all the masses of the world (let's start at Afganistan and the Middle Eas and Africa) this world would be a much happier place.

First of all the US DOES spend more on humanitarian aid then any other country in the world. What was it? 30 million to afghanistan this year? To the taliban.

That worked good didn`t it?
In return for this aid the Taliban aided bin laden who spreads terror all over the world. Bin ladin had 50 camps training terrorists to kill Americans.

Education? The taliban outlaws education for women.
PC`s? Don`t hook it up to the internet or risk having your throat cut.

Sometimes there is no other way than the use of force.

Let me ask you a question.

What would haveto be done? What type of attack on the US before you would use military force to defend it?
