A disclaimer: I am not anti-US or Anti-Americans. I am anti-America as the nation state. The people, both in Afghanistan and the US- in general are normal people like anywhere else. The problem are the governing elites manoeuvring them as a mass for their purposes. OK, you guys in the US don't have, or don't find the interest to watch or read several other sources of information to form an opinion. I do. I watch German, British and French sources. The French channel brought a documentary showing a Afghan inside his house with the AK-47 on the floor and a couple of kids playing with it. He was explaining he was tired of the whole situation, His father had to fight, he has to fight and he doesn't want those two boys to fight. When asked what he wants the boys to do he replied: I want them to go to school so that they live a better life than this one I live. The people are usually OK. But the nation-state and its army of fat cats bureaucrats are the problem. They use people to get their dirty deals done. The nation-state is a dangerous anachronism.
