Mitch, You are obviously well read and have given this much time and study. Did you approach this with a truly open mind as to the truth or falsity of it or were you predisposed for some reason to disprove the Scriptures.

I appreciate that you at least consider Paul's letters to be credible. However, I am sure you will refute Paul's experience on the road to Damascus and his subsequent out of body experience with Christ who revealed the inclusion of the Gentiles as part of God's offer of grace to them. Paul counted it all joy to be found worthy to suffer so much for Christ and I especially like the statement that if we only have hope for this life than his Gospel is false and is of no benefit. I felt Paul was so truthful about his teachings and still do until the end of this life. If it be false than who have I hurt by living by the sound principles of Christ? I truly am no advocate of any religion save a personal relationship with Christ and it has supported and given me peace. What disbeliever who says that this world originated in a cypher and is rushing headlong into nothingness and has no fulfillment or purpose can make any sense out of life? How can one find peace with his spiritual core? This body is no more than a house that the real spiritual nature of my essence resides.

Personal note: At least looking at your bio I see that you came from a great alma mater. Boomer Sooner!!!!!
