It all depends on which really big, well-known companies you are talking about. Chip and Chip equip stocks have generally been slammed into the dust recently, they'll recover at some point in the future. PC companies may have more mergers similar to what we are seeing with HWP, CPQ. Internet related companies still have significant risk of failure, although there is little doubt that companies like SUNW and CSCO will still be standing when the dust settles. What we really have are company specific stories, so we need to know which really big, well-known companies you are talking about.
