Hearney links: He seems to be the real deal here, and I'm very impressed with his addition to the board, if INSP has a realistic offering in the defense field. bens.org bens.org fas.org this last one is obscenely long, Hearney's only reference is interesting however, in that he discusses the folly of a lot of what is being planned in the high tech arena, gadgets and toys of no practical use to a combat infantryman. The main thrust being that technologies chief asset in combat is to lighten the load of the battlefield soldier. The simpler, the better. Hearney seems to be very knowledgeable and well connected as far as defense procurement of high tech equipment goes *************** more links....
