I left the question of religion to another post, since religion had nothing to do with what I wrote. However, you are right, I would consider that God built us thus, in the end. I, of course, do not think that we have all developed so differently. We have a lot in common, depending upon degree of civilization. I also do not think there are thousands of different religions. Most people belong to one of the major religions, from Judaism to Buddhism. There are several different religions, each with a number of sectarian variants. Why? Because, I suppose, we are left with different histories and substantial freedom.
