Microsoft is currently creating more value now than at any time in it's history. The threat to it's monopolistic stature has really lit a fire under Gates and Co. Please ignore any short term fluctuations in pricing, MSFT is still on it's way up.
Remain cognizant, that the market is not truly efficient nor perfect, or it would be impossible for certain individuals to consistently outperform the market (eg. Buffet and Soros). I say this to highlight the fact that interest rates may be increasing in the short term, which might spark a decline in big board stocks that probably would spread to the OTC stocks, hence many tech stocks. If this is true, consider it a buying oppurtunity for MSFT. MSFT has practically no long term debt, and will fundamentally feel very little effect from such a rise. There bread & butter revenues and their internet ventures should be affected very little by a short tern increase in short term rates. We at RCM are very bullish on Microsoft.
