reevery stock is a POS
I thought about this on my way to work.
I don't agree. I have held several stocks this year, found with careful screening, that would have made good profits if I were not so frightened.
Ally, bought at 8 or 9 would have tripled or quadrupled
NYCB bought at 33 could have had 10 points
MTH bought at 19 could have doubled
RI bought at 16 would have given a little upside anyway.
GD at 78 was good for points and so was/is ATK.
(I have sold puts on ATK for OCT and will probably not have the stock put to me so will make a few hundred bucks on that anyway).
TYC at 40 is already up 10%.
So there are companies and stocks making money.
The problem is you have to be so nimble and its too difficult.
Especially now that I will be a regular class teacher and working every second of the day.
I am getting a free subscription for a couple of weeks to the optionsinvestor...it looks interesting. I'll paper trade for a while and see how accurate they are. If they seem accurate I'll try one option trade at a time.
They do both puts and calls, and have stop losses.

My major problem right now is I hate myself. That pretty well stops me from achieving anything, stock market or otherwise. I hope my new job helps. I'm still leaving for Utah in June and won't teach in a school situation again.
