Suresh,

I talked to AVCI management earlier in the week. They have no plans for a stock buy back. They view the effect of the buy back as transitory. Some directors are buying. It is only a small amount ( < 100,000). They will exit the Q with about 160,000,000 in cash. They are in 12 trials besides the ones already announced. On the topic of new products, all they said was stay tune. They don't see their competitive advantage being over taken any time soon. Some margin improved is possible through concessions from suppliers. No guidance on the macro telecom cap ex spending. I specifically asked about TLAB's comment that the current market down turn would last to Q4 of 2002. No comment. They do not appear to be losig any business due to the size of their system (a comment I have heard on one of the other stock boards).
