I'll bet she has had little or no American History courses ...And has read no books on any of the wars we've had to undertake as a country. She is most probably young, and has most probably never had to think of anyone but herself, and most probably indulges herself quite well.

Some time ago, Helen Keller said: "I am but one, BUT I am one, and I can do something."

That said, it would be my hope that every single American would call their local school district, see how many teachers of American History there are for their schools, what grades have courses in American History, and for how long.

It is my guess that Americans (whether you have students now or not) are going to be MOST surprised!!! Where is American History in the schools?????

Find out how long it has been gone, or nearly gone. And ask WHY... gather up your neighbors and review the curriculum the schools are teaching.
