Who was it that created those states that you mention?

Did the West have anything to do with it?

Britain perhaps?

If you believe we deserve to determine our freedom, why cannot others determine theirs?

"If you state that Israel, which was bestowed upon the Jews as a reward for their support of defeating the Turks and suffering at the hands of the Nazis, does not deserve to exist, then how can you justify creating a Palestinian state given Palestinian and Arab collaboration with Adolf Hitler during WWII??"

If your analogy holds water, why did the US push the Serbs back into Serbia, who were also our allies in WW II, and sustained casualties at the hands of the Nazis, and have a claim to Kosovo, on a historical basis?

I certainly was not dancing in any streets in celebration over the deaths of my fellow Americans. My first response, to my Mother who was sitting adjacent to me was *#@!^&*%$, these people are serious!

Over the course of the following week, I was thinking that America has been wounded and it's pride destroyed (thus all the flags), and reflected on all the other civilians worldwide, which greatly exceed our losses. Some of those losses were at the hands of American weaponry.

I will ask the question another time:

Are Americans the only people that bleed and suffer?
