I thought it was interesting that Piper rates AMAT a buy and KLAC a "neutral" based on comps with 1998 trough valuations so I took a look. wsrn.com wsrn.com I look at Price/Book and Price/Sales at 1998 versus today and I see what he means. Any reason to think these comps are less than meaningful?
