rd, alan greenspan cooked up some phony statistics that doubled gdp growth and productivity. not b/c it actually doubled - IT DIDN'T. rather, because alan arbitrarily added phony chained dollars into the equation b/c he *knew* better than the market and rational thought. "dam* it! computers are increasing gdp even if the numbers don't show it. they MUST be wrong so i'll change them."

this cookie jar was the foundation of the new economy and alan's finger prints are all over the jar! that being said, yes, investors were foolish and will pay the price!
