Ray, You have your facts right - dead on actually. As concerns the MMDS license preservation (plus portability enhancement), the MMDS players knew they were in there with schools and churches (ITFS usage) and more than likely milked it for all the political mileage they could. They seem to have a better lobby in Washington than the 3g crowd; as you know, with limited resources available for allocation, the incumbents almost always win.
