Are you aware that Intel is suing ECS as well as VIA?
Intel sues those that promote it's products...amazing...

Jim

Right, intel should just let anybody use their intellectual property, however they want, whenever they want, without any compensation at all..... Brilliant....

Hey, I've got a good idea, Jim, why don't you give up any patent rights that your company has, to products associated with the core product you company makes. After all, it would help sell more of your companies core product, and therefore increase sales of that particular product! Why don't you suggest it at your next staff meeting, and see how it goes over...

Shoot, even better, let's do away with patents, alltogether!!! That way, anybody that wants to develop a product, could do it, and everybody would have all the products They want!!! Of course, nobody would have any financial reason to develop anything, since everyone else could immediately use it to their own advantage.

You don't get to use someone else's product, to sell your product, without giving them credit and/or compensation, regardless of whether that someone else would sell more of theirs.
