But semi...VIA has a P4 license through S3. The VIA P4 DDR chipset has VIA/S3 printed right on it. LOL

You'd think Intel would be happy to help anyone who wants to promote the P4...instead they want to sue...
This is a very interesting situation.
So mobo manufacturers are OK if they use i850s and i845s (for SDRAM only). Yet if they use the VIA chipset they get sued...
I guess Intel is too big for them to give them the finger...
