Okay, I have an interesting little scenario where the Israelis intentionally attacked the Liberty, men on the Liberty died, and their deaths were a war crime. But the war criminal was: Lyndon Johnson, as lying and vile and murderous a b*stard as ever sat in the Oval Office.
Let's assume the U.S. is fighting an intense war in the continental U.S. And let's assume that no ships but the combatants should be in the war theater. And then, let's assume, that a foreign communications ship loaded with antennae and listening devices appears, without our knowledge, in or near our territorial waters, and up to God knows what acts that may jeopardize our soldiers' lives. What does the U.S. do? Do we even have have to ask? The U.S. sinks the ship. Who is responsible? The cynical "leader" who sends a loaded communications ship into a war zone in violation of international law, endangering the American troops
So, under this scenario:
1. Lyndon Johnson, creator of the false Gulf of Tonkin attack, identifies a foreign war theater.
2. Johnson knows enough international law to know that it would be a violation to send a ship in there, particularly one loaded with listening devices.
3. Johnson, who never cared a whit about any soldier's life, sends a ship in for his own purposes, knowing the danger.
4. Israel then does what any sovereign nation would do in time of war--sinks the intruder, who has entered by stealth and deception. (Pity the poor sailors, yet more innocent pawns in one of Johnson's many cynical war games).
Murderer: Lyndon B. Johnson (but just add the Liberty sailors to the 50,000 Vietnam victims of Johnson). The sailors aren't lying--what they don't know is that LBJenocide did them in.
Secondary Victim: Israel, who gets accused of treachery forever for responding as any wartime nation would to Johnson's dirty litttle act of war/ esponiage. And, because Johnson was such a luciferian, blood-drenched bully, they are prevented by him from telling the real story.
