The 30% discount that Infospace received from Paul Allen in the share repurchase is nothing short of highway robbery. Infospace actually got to repurchase those shares at a price lower than Infospace stock has ever traded on NASDAQ. Mr. Allen must have been feeling very generous indeed. (Of course he is the third wealthiest man in the world, so he can afford to be.) And Infospace's investment in itself has appreciated 40% since. All the better!
