SB: You may have a point that I do not yet see -- but I have never been convinced that the distinction you make is significant for the economy -- however significant it might be for MU. If we had the same level of productivity in connecting phone calls that we had in 1910, it would take every man, woman and child in the US just to run the phone company. Do companies face declining profits as a result of declining costs and tight profit margins? Sure. Profits are not assured by productivity -- these are separate issues. I have never been a fan of communications related investments for this reason - great productivity increases, crummy profits and poor prospects. I won't debate this ad naseum. That is it for me.
