In order for the US to take it easy, it needs to build up other ‘enforcers’ able to keep local/regional peace, all serving the goal of globalization and order, else, chaos and maximum disorder that will not serve anyone’s genuine interest. You want the US to expend it's resources empowering others? Have you not heard this might be the basis for the world wide resentment towards all things american? If you want stability and a level playing field, I suggest you pony up some of your own PGMs to foot the bill. Speaking not to you directly, as a friendly cohort, but you as a capitalistic cohort. Enjoy your beach, and let me know if you find any games capable of teaching strategic thought... <g>
