I've read a few of his articles and I think his message is that we, the people living in North America, should be paying more attention to the virtues of thrift, hard work, self reliance, education, honesty, family values, ... (we can all finish the list.)
He seemed to point to China as an example where these qualities are accelerating a society forward at a rate which, if it continues, will propel them to a world leadership position. He doesn't seem to dwell too much on what it will be like for those in North America once we occupy an unfamiliar second place.
However, I've only read a few of his articles, and cannot condemn or endorse what he says. I thought his China observations interesting, and wondered about their accuracy. I've never visited China.
