BGR, it does seem needless, and needlessly unkind, to say it, but it would be good if you could learn from experience. All the markets are still overvalued by about 100%, and only a few stocks are worth owning. Just because they were overvalued by up to 1000% a couple of years ago does not mean that they have come back down to levels that make them a good investment.

I am no longer holding LEAP puts on individual stocks, and I have (at least temporarily) closed my LEAP puts on the Dow, but that's as close as I come to bullishness. I am afraid that I hope that there are enough people who think as you do, who will send the Dow back up to 9500 so I can restored the put position. I think I am through shorting the QQQs. I think they are going lower, but someone else can have that profit. My enduring short position continues to be old BEARX--not the best place, but a lot better than being long.

"Only down 20%"? Plain cash would have you 25% higher than what you had, and 105% is better than 25% higher than 80%.

Put your money in the bank and wait a year or two.
