I am now holding ACTT. I believe their earnings appreciation will be tremendous over the next year. Particularly since they announced this alliance with Providea:
ACT Teleconferencing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACTT), a leading independent worldwide provider of audio, video, data and Web-based conferencing products and services has entered into a co-marketing agreement with Providea(TM) Inc., the leading single-source supplier of video equipment, network and support services. Under the terms of the agreement, ACT Teleconferencing will expand Providea's multi-point video conferencing capability by providing Providea's
customers with 24/7 global video conferencing services. Providea will utilize ACT's ActionView(SM) video bridging services in North America, Europe, Hong Kong and Australia.
In turn, Providea will provide ACT customers with a single source for best-in-class video equipment, network and support services. ACT customers will also have access to ProvideaXpress, the only program that provides video equipment with no capital outlay when bundled with network, as well as other custom solutions.
"The ability to conduct business in real-time is critically important to our customers given today's business environment," said Mike Case, VP Marketing, Providea Inc. "Our agreement with ACT offers our customers 24/7 global access for multipoint conferences, further simplifying their video communications initiatives."
Emily Magrish, VP Sales & Marketing, ACT Teleconferencing Services, Inc., said, "Our customers are demanding a single point-of-contact for proper equipment and service to ensure flawless high-speed digital conferencing over quality networks. This relationship will offer ACT clients complete video solutions with state-of-the-art equipment, network, multi-point bridging and support services."
