Hello, Lurker Z. Some fuss has been made about my making my waffling goldbug list on this thread I guess, which I find absolutely fascinating. Never knew that people being held accountable for their GPM anti-American public expressions vengence for 9/11's terrorist and cowardly attack on NY, WA, PA AND all their corresponding anti-gold, hidden gold bashing agendae-- WHICH I THINK GOES HAND IN HAND,--would strike such a chord of fear.
All I can guess is that deep in everyone is a memory of some sort of being "Not chosen" for the "A" team, regardless of whether it was 1st Grade Spelling, or Varsity Soocer/Football/Track or some other coveted externalized validation of "belonging." What I can't tell is whether those who are upset are upset because they aren't on the list or because they are<g> What I'll never forget is ole George "lease rate hall monitor" Cole popping off within MINUTES of the horror, upon this very thread with a "we deserved it, look at this from their viewpoint" post, and several more similar bilge spouting barf before he noticed he was definitely in the minority and exhibiting extremely poor and calloused taste as a resident amongst us Shocked and Grieving Americans, whether on here on visa or by accident of his birth. IT WAS DISGUSTING THEN, AND STILL IS!!!!
It is most interesting to note in the last 2+weeks since this terrible tragedy, even out here in my tiny gold "ghost" town, how the goldbugs/goldminers gingerly treat the topic of the tragedy--that is until they feel out the "other person's reaction first" This terrorist act at "home" HERE IN AMERICA has gold repercussions clear down here at the grass roots miner level!!! It's astounding.
So, to answer your specific question, YES, Marcos is on "SI Ignore" and has been for about 3+ years now. I wouldn't be surprised to learn (and yes, have had others tell me so privately) that he "belongs" on my list. Undoubtedly that should be the case. However, since I, personally, didn't read his usually vicious rhetoric to anything I have had to say for quite sometime, I can't add him to my list of waffling goldbugs who have spoken out AGAINST American's right to seek vengence upon our enemies and or why "we deserved this." We have this right and are exercising this right and will continue to do so as long as this tragedy lives in our American Psyche, just as Pearl Harbor resonates with our Elders. Marcos and George and the others can just stuff it!
Regarding your reference to the Quebec discussion on this thread and my opinion thereof:

Quebecers haven't bashed gold as a career that I know of, nor have they originated and perpetuated the scheme of absurd gold leasing combined in recent days with an attack of USA goldminers STATUTORY RIGHTS TO MINE by harrassing and obtuse interps of layered bureacracy--at least not that I'm aware of. This lack of gold relevance is why I've stayed out of that discussion, except to read it. I've followed with considerable interest, the personally valued contributions by Eric Charters with his erudite, witty, sometimes sarcastic view of that arena. I would, for example, have to defer to miner/goldbug Eric for drawing any Quebecer to gold discussion connection for example, since I only knew very little of the Quebecer separatist movement except when it flared up last election time up there, and absolutely nothing of the violent history they seem to possess in trying to get "their agenda" pushed through.
I would observe this, however:
When I posted the brought forward publically disdainful comments by Doug AK AK to Bill Murphy from day one in this thread, ole Doug disappeared for damn near a week, because he doesn't like accountability for his put-downs and embarrassing public harrassment of ole GATA BM! That's typical cowardly behavior to hide from accountability to others,a human trait. And when the hijackers bombed the WTC, Pentagon and also ended up face down in PA rich terra firma, he also hid over on the Gold & Silver Stocks thread, Doug AK AK only came back here about 10+ days after the act and started in again on GATA righteousness overhere, even tho' GATA BM had already resumed his gold rhetoric against such a horrific backdrop several days earlier. I have to wonder why DOug Ak AK waited.
So, before you ask me about Doug AK AK, I'd say consider the source. He's a waffling goldbug as well, having moved from a waffle off stance originally with his two tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny gold stock investments to waffling on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and...about GATA BM. So waffling and attack of me and others on this thread is his style, but that doesn't exactly make him a terrorist supporter, altho' he's been reeeeeal careful not to even give a hint as to which side of the issue he really lands on.
So, while all GPM terrorist sympathizers and pacifists who spout gold advice and gold opinions on this thread after they outted themselves in what thread founder Tom/aka Abner Hosmer called "fence straddlers"---while all GPM TERRORIST SYMPATHIZERS AND GPM PACIFIST whose GOLD OPINIONS now need to be questioned by everyone on this thread because of their "terrorist support agenda", not everyone who has a gold opinion is a terrorist supporter. This is a LARGE distinction and one easily made in my mind.
Over 2 weeks ago, I pointed out the gold and diamond connection on this thread to the terrorist funding efforts. Lo, and behold!!! Yesterday on this very thread, someELSE posted a "news article" regarding the official search for terrorist funding/trackability. AND there it was, a reference to gold, diamonds (and some other commodity) being murkey and hard to track--a point I made two whole weeks ago!!!!!!!
So, I propose we now know where some of this "leased gold" has gone to, and answered part of the 'why' this scheme has been permitted to continue, all in the name of getting the Euro Launched.
What we have before is, I submit, is a clarion example of the agendae of others being used by those who have terrorist agenda against the USA in particular. What an ugly twist to learn of the (leased?) gold/diamond funding connection perpetuated by Alan G, BillyRubin, Clinton, yes, even the current Bush administration, for terrorist activity funding along the way.
HERE'S A STARTLING THOUGHT FOR YOU TO PONDER:
Since there is an emerging demonstrable link between gold/diamonds being used for huge amounts of money to fund terrorism, purchase of flight training, purchase of enriched plutonium, purchase of biological agents, etc., should the PRICE OF GOLD BE EVEN ALLOWED TO RALLY AS THE RESULT OF OLE GATA BM's support of Reg Howe? Won't any success on that level of endeavor to raise the price of gold only result in a horrendous PROFIT WINDFALL for the terrorist, and thus increase the likelihood of more and even better funded attacks on our nation and other nations of the coalition?
GOD HELP US AMERICANS and HER ALLIES as we serve as GOD'S AVENGING HANDS AND FEET in the annihilation of our enemies, both at home and abroad!!!
