Falwell's timing was bad, and he's certainly no Billy Graham, but his underlying message still resonates out here away from the Left and Right coasts.>>> FWIW: I don't know that much (more like nothing) about Falwell and Robertson. For all I know they could be like Tammy, Jimmy, Elmer, the Chinese FLG with their Mecca in New Jersey, or the guy that distributed Kool Aide to followers in Guyana. I like my Christianity spouted by organizations with a track record, preferably several millennium - so I can be assured they are legit. All the newbies (Church of "what's happening now" variations on traditional Christian, Moslem, Jewish or other older foundations) have to be vetted overtime. They have to go through the open market place of ideas. Especially with stuff that requires a lot of faith. IMHO. Mary
