But what I find amazing JAPG is that a recent poll showed that 50% of Americans believe we are GOING INTO a recession. Think about that. It indicates that many of those 50% probably don't believe we are already IN a recession. And, more importantly, the other 50% must believe we are NOT GOING TO ENTER ONE.

It is possible (not likely, though) the other 50% believe we are already in one, as opposed to going into one. In that case, the survey is consistent with reality. :)
