I would like to see this available for use for security systems for private companys in place of key codes, etc

One security "system" that I haven't seen mentioned is the iButton.

ibutton.com

This is a product produced by Dallas Semiconductor, which is owned by Maxim (MXIM). The iButton has many uses...some which are to allow access to a door, a computer, or a specific machine. The access can be denied by the person who controls the network computer....so that a "former" employee will no longer be able to obtain access. The iButton also allows a date and time stamp, so you have an idea of who was the last person to use a certain machine, and the time of the use.

It's too bad that security is going to play such an important role in the workplace, but IMO this will be a major concern of both employees and employers in the future. With your retail jewelry stores, I'm sure that security has always been a high priority for you.
