You are out of your mind. What little you had. Seriously. Go see a shrink. You need one more than anyone on SI. More than Emile Vidrine even, and that's saying a LOT.

His statements cost "a trillion dollars in market capitalization"? A large part of the damage was due to an already weak economy (post-bubble syndrome due to Slick), disasterous insurance claims, serious communications disruption for finance, fear of flying because of fear of a repeat, and fear of war. And that fear of war was going to be there anyway. And should be. Jimmy Carter may have been stupid enough to rule out the use of force against Iran; George Bush is NOT stupid enough to rule it out against the Taliban. We want them pale with fear.

The best way to make this happen again is to make these monsters thing they can get away with it with no consequences. Which is exactly what you advocate.

I asked you on another thread: Do you think the Taliban was guiltless in this matter? They did not aid and abet it? They had no knowledge of it?

Should they also not be held accountable for their actions?

You never answered.
