It isn't just the Afghanistan citizens that are fleeing....

People heading to the countryside
from London amid terrorist attack
fears

People are leaving London in fear of possible terrorist
attacks.

Those who have second homes in the countryside are
deciding not to rent them in case of any eventuality.

Schools and letting agents in Cornwall are receiving a
number of enquiries from people in the past two weeks.

Russell Hollins, headmaster at Treliske private school in
Truro told The Sunday Telegraph: "I have had at least a
dozen calls from people in the London area looking for
places at the school. Many have holiday homes in the area
and are planning to live in them."

Nick Lane, headmaster at St Minver primary school, near
Rock, north Cornwall says: "I can understand why people
should want to relocate if they have the means to do so.

"There are parallels with Afghanistan, where the population
is also moving to the countryside because of the possibility
of war."

Alex Bray, from John Bray estate agents in Rock said some
clients had decided not to let their properties.

"They are going to be using them a lot more themselves,"
he says.

"The whole perspective of how we choose to live will
change if there is a long, gruelling terrorist campaign .
There could be a complete flight to the countryside. There is
definitely an anti-urban feeling."
