The WTC and Pentagon were blown up by people who believed that true evil resided only in capitalist America, and had no understanding how evil their own prejudices really were. The enemy is blind hatred, not one group or another. Virtually any "group" in the world can be manipulated into supporting vicious ethnic or religious or political crusades. You will never get rid of that. As soon as you think you are "safe" from one group, the evil of group-think and group-hatred will come from another quarter, like dumb white dudes or anyone else with a chip on their shoulder and a talent for organization. Who will be plotting a new campaign while we are busy profiling anyone who looks like an Arab? If were Bin Laden I would be hiring some nice white mercenary terrorists to carry out my next job. You don't need suicide bombers to set off a nuke or a chemical weapon. History is full of massive slaughters with nothing to do with Islam. Don't kid yourself that one grand anti-terrorist campaign against one set of suspects is going to make you safe forever. We have been vulnerable for decades and always will be.
