"Israeli greatness", according to materialistic economic determinist like yourself (which is essentially no different than Marx's materialistic economic determinism)
is anchored in concreted, military equipment, roads, in short, the external and material manifestations of civilization. The only reason Israel has developed these in the last fifty years is because of $200,000,000 of welfare from the US and another $200,000,000 from Germany and various other European programs.
Israel has made the dessert bloom with greenbacks, but the spiritual, intellectual, artistic, musical, etc. elements of Israeli "civilization" are really non-existent! Israel has used the hundreds of billion in welfare to virtually buy in toto the external manifestations of Western Christian Civilization but possesses none of the spiritual and dunamic inter qualities that give Christians/European Civilization its inner dynamic and made them the envy of the world. Israeli politicians and apologists try to mimmick our internal values but, for the most part, have no understand of the spiritual values that our civilization great. |
