violence for me is using force on the weak. Militarism means putting skulls, cross and dagger in your coat of arms. Defense is neither violence nor militarism. So to come back to your statement, I dont think US is violent/militaristic in general, and specially not in its (in essence and cause defensive) steps to neutralize/eradicate terrorism.

We're not in a court of law, CB. What we're playing, is cooperative (win-win) games. So... watch your language;
