True enough. "Blind hatred" and "evil acts" have a cause effect relationship. Throughout History this relationship has been exploited many times by ordinary men with extraordinary objectives.

But, currently the enemy within our borders has a well defined profile. To ignore that and rigidly police our points of vulnerability based on some idealistic, whole earth, all citizens are equally suspect strategy is foolish and wasteful of resources. It's counter intuitive and risky behavior.

Respect for the rights of people of differing ethnic groups is a political necessity as well as an idealistic one. There is no need to, nor would I advocate, tromping on anyones rights simply because they belong to a particular group. However, security for all groups, including the group in which this enemy hides, depends on all groups cooperating together, especially with the group in which this enemy hides.
