Hi Ike,

I'm still very troubled about Pakistan. I think it's a powder keg. Those sects of the Muslim faith that view the taliban as the perfect model for islam is very troubling to me. I can't understand how Muslims in that part of the world whom have seen first hand how they treat their own people and defy every tenant of human dignity and rights, can stand with them and their interpretation of the Qur'an?

I can see why "moderate" Arab states have legitimate concerns of this diseased form of fanaticism raised by these fundamentalists movements. They are a great threat to all Islamic based governments.

I haven't read the Holy Quran in a long time, so I spent a little time today in "The Caves" chapter today. Reconciling the words of Isa or Jesus and understanding the books teaching is at times difficult looking for the meanings being conveyed by these inspired words. Understanding the mindset of those who wish Americans Jews and other Muslims harm is very difficult to comprehend.

People of that region of the world are so poor that it is easy to see how easily the uneducated are taken advantage of. The promise of the garden must be very alluring to those that have nothing. One only needs to visit the United States of America to see how God has Blessed this Nation.

Jeff
