<The number & the degree of this suicide bombing movement is mindboggling. A father of a deceased bomber is treated as a local hero...>

Yes, the suicide bombers are viewed as martyrs by the Fundamentalist Muslims in the Middle East. If you went to the West Bank or Gaza Strip, this would become readily apparent to you. Many Muslims get approached and recruited as suicide bombers in the Mosques there. Far from being religious houses of worship, many of the Fundamentalist Mosques in the Middle East are used as recruitment facilities for suicide bombers. Your hair would stand up if you knew what was being preached in these so-called houses of worship.

The problem with bombing these Mosques is that it would be the equivalent of declaring War on the whole Muslim World.

I am quite concerned about individual liberties being taken away in the United States in the name of fighting terrorism. For instance, I do not think that Congress should pass a law giving the Gov't the right to wiretap any individual. I would refer you here to Congressman's Ron Paul's recent speech:

house.gov

I've mentioned this before and I will mention it again: The problem is quite serious and cannot be reduced merely to the actions of the Taliban in Afghanistan. There is a whole Underground Terrorist Network throughout the Middle East. Many of the Arab and Fundamentalist Muslim peoples throughout the Middle East implicitly support these networks and suicide bombers.

A word on Gold: We need to hold our gold stocks and bullion bars. Every fundamental economic indicator is lined up solidly on the bullish side for Gold. I do not think the Fed will be successful in reinflating the economy. One need only look at the CRB and price of crude oil to see that the U.S. economy is entering the early stages of a deflationary bust. Moreover, the bear market in U.S. equities began the week of September 17 when the Dow Jones Industrials declined into Bear Market Territory. In spite of the massive manipulation on the part of the Fed and BOJ this past week, I see the POG surging past the $300 level shortly. Only in a communist state can markets be successfully manipulated indefinitely.

On another note(and this is not directed to you), I am very disappointed in the constant squabbling and cheap personal attacks by many people on this thread. Don't you guys have more productive things to do? It is absolute petty nonsense and does nothing to rectify the situation in NYC, Washington DC, or Israel. I do not have the time anymore to post on a regular basis. But these are very trying times for the people of NYC. This past Tuesday, September 25, there was a bomb threat on the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge in NYC. Traffic was backed up for hours on end, according to my sources(friends and family who live in NYC), as each car was checked for explosives. The Throgs-Neck Bridge, which is close by, was likewise affected.

I'd like to see more gold commentary on GPM and less hate.

I was wondering if Ken Benes was okay. He has not posted since September 10 and I was wondering if he lived in NYC and worked in the WTC. I hope he is alive and well. Most people on this thread are so consumed with hatred 24 hours a day that they have lost their humanity a long time ago.

But each Human Life is precious.
