You know the answer as well as I ;-).

But, since you are fishing for it: Integer performance was virtually unchanged (except in cases where the larger L1 cache or the backside L2 cache was important - which was not an insignificant portion of the apps and benchmarks of the time - where the Athlon was naturally significantly faster).
