RE: What you can do down in Georgia to help out. Good question. I guess one place to start is in being aware of your surroundings, your neighbors, the people you do business with, places you eat at, etc. The first prong of this retaliation effort is to hit them in the wallet.
Out here in Oregon, we had quite a seige with the Rajneeshes, Cult which numbered in the 10s of thousands. They were into local politics in a big way, released salmonelae into a local restaurant's salad bar, yes, this is independently verifiable sickening over 1,500 people, in order to try to throw a local election, etc. This is all verifiable in media morgues throughout this state.
R cultists' acts of violence, subversion, usage of civil disobedience, etc., made all the newspapers up here. And some of them, even 30 years later, ARE STILL being rounded up, and indictments handed down then, are being executed now with prison-time being enforced currently. The state & Federal Atty Gen'ls had their hands full just recently infact with a couple women--close lieutenants to the Bhagwan<sp> himself-- being hauled back here for sentencing after all this time.
Traitors in one's midst is quite an ordeal, just ask Oregonians about the fear, paralysis, and anger! Laws had to be changed, enforcement had to be modified, restaurant habits had to be modified, fundraising events had to be challenged. Yes, there is a LOT you can do down in Georgia that is applicable to learning how to handle cults and identify the enemy within your own state.
So, along the lines of being aware of just who and where your local version of Wahhabi influenced Muslim neighbors are down there, you might want to spend some time reading up on how Oregon handled the red-robbed bunch during the multi-year battle with them within our state's boundaries to get some perspective, and some individual & community empowerment.
