The fact is, we are in a new era of history >>>>>> Technologically, yes we are. Biologically we are still Homo Sapiens. It is almost as if we are dealing with a different species in Afghanistan? After all they do live in mud huts and caves not unlike prehistoric Neandertals. Modern man has created rules that ensure the survival of our species. Rules that the Taliban and it's followers abhor. It does seem that the people of Afghanistan have become enslaved by an intolerant, subhuman "species" that is bent on guarding its survival in a most archaic way. The only difference being they no longer throw spears, but missiles. They would be wise to study the history of mankind, for to deviate from assimilation, they doom their "species." They still prefer to reside in a world not unlike the world of the Neandertal. I would say that their chances of survival are probably the same as those cavemen they emulate. M
