Short positions are already done on a "once a month" basis, but that's not really good enough.

The way it's done now is giving people outdated information, and by doing it daily it's up to the minute information.

There's no reason why it can't be done, the exchanges are all on computer, and all it would take is a few lines of code to have the computer do all the work. I figure it would take maybe 10 minutes of computer time, if that much.

More knowledge is always better than less knowledge, espcially in the markets, and by keeping it the way it is now, people are being kept in the dark about the true state of affairs concerning short positions.
