I agree that AMZN has assets worth something to somebody - though left on their own they would probably succumb to Chapter 11 eventually due to the debt load. I have Jan 7.5 puts in AMZN (I already took profits in a half-position) that I am holding at least through the October fund selling season.

ZIXI's technology may be cool but hardly anyone wants to pay for it, and they face stiff competition. If you can't generate a revenue stream after almost two years working on a tech product, the odds are slim you ever will. Again I am playing that one with puts, November 5's in this case.

I have been buying more stocks under $5 lately - if I think they are worth more than $5 based on the balance sheet and how they are coping with the downturn. Plenty out there to choose from.
