Jim: My computer runs on Windows 98. I installed "Memtubro" on my computer to monitor memory usage. Memtubro does a good job in freeing unused memory from applications. Most users are happy with Memtubro. You may want to take a look of Memtubro at wwww.memtubro.com Julius
