Undisclosed Short Selling the Ultimate Market Manipulation

As we have learned and some are learning short selling within America is not regulated very well. In America the lender is the broker that you sign away your right of ownership to and has full power to use your investment against you. In other markets the Broker is to the lender but the actual owner of the shares. The short sellers in other countries have to go get a stock loan agreement with the owner as collateral before they can sell short.

Where longs are hoping for good news the shorts are hoping for bad news. However, it does not matter much anymore because regardless of news the shorts control the market absolutely. Their arrogance is undeniable. But with the Internet shorting is easy as pie. regardless of the news or fundamentals the internet is the best place to spread misleading information through spinning. Just the opposite of pumping to dump. They bash their way to capitulation. Cover and laugh at the longs because any news is bad news and can definitely be painted that way.

The internet is fraught with unscrupulous short-selling activity and their hinge men the bashers. Are Market Makers using hinge men to manipulating the Internet information for sells? Whereas before the internet short sellers had to issue reports and news releases slamming the stocks fundamentally. Most of the reports disseminated were totally fabricated and fraught with negative spin hoping the long position would be scared into selling their position. Thus the short covers and the broker gets back the shares.

Conflict of interest is the broker is the lender and bias. The long term client’s position is there for the brokers sole advantage to make money on it when the price drops from the short selling activity. Of course with naked short selling just open an off-shore account and go to short selling. The order will come into the USA as a sell only..

Short selling loves convertible debentures or any convertible just like 144 stock. They will short these two without a second thought. Once they are shorting the fronts (bashers) hit the internet chat sites screaming foul. Every stock can be slammed so this is the easiest part of making the stock decline so the short makes money.

The effectiveness and efficiency of the short seller making a profit relies directly on the negative information and to what degree of exaggeration and twisted falsehood has to be done to get capitulation. The fronts (bashers) have learned that they can remain anonymous and the courts will not help the companies go after them. This only increases the ability to manipulate the market through short selling.

Further once covered they go silent and let the stock price rise then sell out, short and start all over again. Some even bash to get the price down to the lowest possible level so they can buy in first to start to start the process. But regardless its the art of spinning then disseminating bad news on the internet which fuels the fear, uncertainty, and doubt. Thus the efficient result is to drive share prices downward.

Further if the company makes it known publicly they are concerned about the stock price the bashers use that to there advantage also. It does not matter the spin is negative to create panic in the market to induce the desirable effect of accelerated short-selling. The more the stock trades down the more the basher work it.

What is it going to take before the true market manipulators are brought under the scrutiny and companies that seek government intervention will get the protect from this type of unscrupulous behavior and trading strategy? When will the SEC and regulators go after the Short & Distort emails and cartels like they did the TMex cartel?

Ripping off companies and investors because of poor regulation needs to be made a vital issue with regulators and Congress. How far will regulators allow American investors and companies have to suffer under this terroristic and horrible trading strategy that is killing the long term investors? How long before America catches up with other exchanges like Hong Kong and Malaysia before the long term investor’s get a fait shake and level playing field?

Is America Investors investing hard earned money a thing of the past and only short sellers rule supreme to rip off as much as possible from those who are patriots who support our markets and want our market to be the strongest in the world?
