in my view pacifism is not an answer because that sends the message that it's ok to slaughter americans and get away with it. on the other hand, broad use of force on many muslim nations will only breed more hatred of americans and spur on a new class of terrorists. i notice the media and politicians haven't addressed a very real and serious threat coming down the pike. i think before we start dropping bombs on terrorist camps we should decide on what we will do when the terrorists decide to retaliate--and believe me they will.

for example, i'm sure the govt can stop jumbo jets from being hijacked and used as missiles, and i'm sure we can guard our water supply. but what will be our response to terrorists already inside our borders who have assimilated within society, after they pick up a gun, load it with 20 rounds and they go out on the streets shooting into crowds?

it's unfortunate that the american people aren't prepared for what's in store. i want all the right-wing, war-mongering, conservatives out there to tell me what we will do when 10 terrorists already living here in the u.s. all decide to load up some guns and walk the streets shooting people. there is nothing that can be done to stop that, short of rounding up everyone that might look like a terrorist.
