hmmm... interesting point. However this would imply that Islam was meant for a very focused audience with a common ethnic and cultural background. Thus making Islam not a universal ideaology to be followed by masses but indstead a cult like belief to be followed by a few with a common cultural background.

As for the argument that women are treated much better in Islam than in Jewdism or Christianity... Now that is also an interesting notion. However to give you an analogy, if you can accept the notion of putting a positive spin on the Nazi SS during WWII and to argue that whatever they did, they did it for the best interest of German nationals, then I guess the positive spin on Islam treating women in a humanistic manner can also be accepted!
