Michael,
These lower targets with buys are actually good for amat investors. It gives the analysts much room to raise targets as they are achieved. They can take credit for the full run up and if the market stalls and amat stays at 28, then they havent taken a big hit. This strategy goes hand in hand with the expectations of better comparisons originally thought to be coming in the first quarter but perhaps now delayed. mike
