I was 67 posts behind, now I'm caught up....

Two points:

1) We have more oil reserves than Saudi Arabia locked up in tar-sands and oil-shales in the West. But at a cost of $50 +/- per barrel to extract.

2) We missed a great opportunity the other day......When the "students" were shown destroying the U.S. embassy in Kabul, one (maybe two) well placed bombs would have "helped" them tear it down.
