Bruce,
You sound experienced in short selling, and I enjoy it, but am very skeptical. I have only been shorting stocks which trade at least 100000+ shares each day and I only sell short a 2-3 hundred shares at the most. I will average up a maximum of twice, but no more than 10%.
The reason I'm telling you all this is because I want to start trading
1000 share blocks rather than 100 share blocks and maybe even risk more than 10%, but I'm scared of the marker maker. Is he going to try his best to squeeze me out if I put in an order to short 5000 shares of his $15 stock. Selling short has worked very good for me, but many times I have covered myself to see the stock imediately turn south. This may be a little self-centered, but I know that specialist was just waiting for me to cover so he could turn that stock the way I knew it had to go.
Would appreciate your comments
Harry
