I agree with you 100%. It is western money that has allowed the middle east the ability to live in comfort. That is what trade is all about. They get something for giving something. If they resent the involvement that the U.S. has in their area and resent the influence that western culture has on their people, then maybe they should stop accepting our money. Since "they" have proven that they cannot do business in a mutually beneficially manner (and I know that I am generalizing), we need to position ourselves to eliminate the need to do business with them. At this point, I think it is time to spark up a few of our idle nuclear power plants and start building a few more.
