Norv has to love the irony of joining a team that was 1-15 last year and is 3-0 this year and seeing the team he coached last year have a decent shot at an 0-16 season this year.

Marty uses '60s coaching methods and '60s strategies and expects them to work with today's players. He hasn't yet learned that the downfield forward pass is an essential part of the modern pro offense.

Danny boy isn't exactly Einstein either.
