I'm continuosly told here that "We are not for sale." But that "All offers would be reviewed as required by law." I don't know the answer to this, but would offers be announced to the public? Do we know if any discussions have occured?

Also, is it a good time to sell when you are down?

This one hit me as genius this morning when I saw it on the news. Compaq, whose clustering expertise is limited and controlled by the OS vendors, buys a company that has some of the most advanced (NT and non-NT) clustering and fault-tolerant systems.

Good for them!
